The Gulf County
Sheriff’s Office will be conducting vehicle safety checkpoints and DUI check
points during the months of November and December 2007. The check points
will be held throughout the county to include Highway 98 near St. Joe Beach,
Highway 98 and Garrison Ave, C-30 Simmons Bayou, Highway 71 North of White
City, Highway 22 and Highway 22A, Highway 71 and West Arm Creek, Highway 71
Dalkieth Area and Highway 71 near the Calhoun County Line.
On 11/15/2007 Anthony Ray Fridley w/m 20 and Justin
Body w/m 21 were arrested for burglary. It is alleged that they entered the
City of Wewahitchka Storage yard and removed copper wire; brass fitting,
tools and gasoline form the yard. Investigators went to a residence in
Wewahitchka and recovered much of the stolen material. During the
investigation several golf cart batteries were located that the two admitted
stealing in the Lands Landing area. If you have had a Golf Cart Battery

On 11/16/2007 Paul Patrick Gates w/m 18 was arrested
for DWLSR.
On 11/16/2007 Henry Felix Fuller b/m 50 was arrested
on a violation of probation warrant. It is alleged that he tested positive
for illegal narcotics.
On 11/17/2007 James Raymond Heath w/m 40 was arrested
on a violation of probation warrant, it is alleged that Mr. Heath consumed
alcohol, which was a violation of his probation.
On 11/18/2007 deputies responded to a domestic
disturbance on Gray Anderson, they found a vehicle blocking the road. The
suspect Ray Ellison Stripling Jr. W/m 35 was arrested for Battery, criminal
mischief for breaking a window in the victim’s vehicle and resisting without
violence.
On 11/18/2007 deputies responded to a disturbance on
Highway 71 in Wewahitchka, they found John Burl Vickery w/m 30 fighting with
his stepchildren. They were fighting over some fish bones; Vickery was
arrested for domestic battery
On 11/18/2007 deputies responded to a domestic
disturbance when they arrived that both parties had struck the other, Alice
Renee Causey w/f 35 and Scotty Harrell w/m 35 were arrested for domestic
battery.
On 11/20/2007 deputies went to Bay County and picked
up Toby Adam Gray w/m 27 on warrants for failure to appear and Amie Louise
Posey w/f 36 on warrants for Burglary to a structure.
