The Gulf County
Sheriff’s Office will be conducting vehicle safety checkpoints and DUI check
points during the month of December 2007. The check points will be held
throughout the county to include Highway 98 near St. Joe Beach, Highway 98
and Garrison Ave, C-30 Simmons Bayou, Highway 71 North of White City,
Highway 22 and Highway 22A, Highway 71 and Westarm Creek, Highway 71
Dalkieth Area and Highway 71 near the Calhoun County Line.
The Gulf County Sheriffs Office arrest log listed Mark
W Moore being arrest on 11/14/2007; this is not Mark Moore Of St Joe Shrimp
Company.
On 11/30/2007 Gulf County Deputies picked up tow
inmates for Gulf Correctional institute as they were being released for
failure to pay child support, Calvin Leshawn Frazier b/m 37 and Michael John
Neely w/m 29.
On 11/30/2007 Mariann Joy Kelly w/f 32 was arrested for
violation of probation they original charge was DUI.
On 12/01/2007 a vehicle driven by Rebecca Lynn Terry
w/f 37 was stopped for failure to maintain its lane. While speaking with the
driver the deputy noticed the odor of an alcoholic beverage. Ms Terry was
asked to perform several field sobriety exercises, which she did poorly on.
Rebecca Terry was arrested for DUI and possession of drug paraphernalia.
On 12/02/2007 deputies responded to a person trying to
get in the back door of a home in Highland View. They located Eligio
Penagos h/m 27 who was extremely intoxicated he was arrested for loitering
and prowling.
On 12/02/2007 John Patrick Julius b/m 37 was arrested
on warrants for failure to appear on a charge of dealing in stolen
property.
On 12/05/2007 a vehicle driven by Sherry A Floyd w/f 40
was stopped failure to stop at a stop sign. It was discovered that her
license was suspended. She was arrested for DWLSR.
On 12/05/2007 Robert Carr w/m 31 an inmate at Gulf
Correctional unit was arrested on a warrant for introduction of contraband
into a correctional facility.
