The Gulf County
Sheriff’s Office will be conducting vehicle safety checkpoints and DUI check
points during the month of January 2008. The check points will be held
throughout the county to include Highway 98 near St. Joe Beach, Highway 98
and Garrison Ave, C-30 Simmons Bayou, Highway 71 North of White City,
Highway 22 and Highway 22A, Highway 71 and Westarm Creek, Highway 71
Dalkieth Area and Highway 71 near the Calhoun County Line.
On 01/10/2008 a vehicle driven by Gerald Allen Knowles
w/m 32 was stopped for a traffic violation, it was learned that his license
was suspended, he was arrested for DWLSR.
On 01/10/2008 Arthur Terrell Addison b/m 50 was
arrested on two warrants for sale of crack cocaine.
On 01/11/2008 deputies transported Dewey Derand Denton
w/m 59 from Bay County he was arrested on a warrant for violation of
probation on an original charge of DUI.
On 01/11/2008 the sheriff’s office received information
that Katie k Strain w/f 21 was at a residence in Mexico Beach, she was
located and arrested on a warrant for violation of probation.
0n 01/11/2008 James Raymond Heath Jr w/m 40 was
arrested on a violation of probation warrant it is alleged that he was
consuming alcohol, which was a violation of his probation.
On 01/11/2008 a vehicle driven by Daniel Lee Atkins w/m
43 was stopped for a traffic violation. The deputy that stopped the vehicle
determined that Atkins was intoxicated and he was arrested for DUI, he was
also arrested on a violation of probation warrants.
On 01/11/2008 a vehicle was stopped for a traffic
violation, the driver gave deputies permission to search his car, during the
search a baggie of marijuana was fond on the passenger side of the vehicle.
The Passenger Carl Logan Wilson w/m 19 was arrested for possession of
marijuana.
On 01/11/2008 a vehicle driven by Christopher Allen Lee
w/m 25 was stopped for careless driving, it was found his license was
suspended, he was arrested for DUI.
On 01/11/2008 deputi3es stopped a vehicle near Lake
Alice, Robert Jerome Rouse b/m 23 a passenger in the vehicle was arrested on
multiply warrants for sale of crack cocaine, tampering with a witness,
aggravated assault, resisting an officer without violence, during a search
of the vehicle marijuana and crack cocaine were found Rouse stated that the
drugs were his he was also charged with possession of a controlled
substance.
On 01/12/2008 Johnny Charles Underwood b/m 47 was
arrested on a violation of probation warrant the original charge was
disorderly conduct.
On 01/12/2008 deputies attempted to stop a vehicle on
the Overstreet Road, when the deputy activated his lights and siren the
vehicle failed to stop. When Deputies finally got the vehicle stopped the
driver Brad Curtis Phillips w/m 28 was arrested for fleeing and attempting
to elude, DWLSR, and DUI.
On 01/12/2008 Barry Lee Sites w/m 27 was a passenger in
a vehicle that was stopped for a traffic violation, Sites was arrested on a
warrant for failure to pay child support.
On 01/14/2008 deputies went to the Bay County Jail and
arrested Logan Steven Pope w/m 20 on a violation of probation warrant the
original charge was possession of drug paraphernalia.
On 01/14/2008 Kendrick Lawayne Gray was arrested on Bay
County Warrants for violation of probation,
On 01/15/2008 Tammy Jean Melton w/f 39 was arrest for
failure to appear on a charge of attaching tag not assigned.
On 01/15/2008 Daniel Lee Atkins w/m 43 was arrest on a
violation of probation warrant the original charge was introduction of
contraband into a correctional facility.
On 01/15/2008 Raymond Alexander Driesbach b/m 38 was
arrested on a warrant for failure to pay child support.
On 01/16/2008 Kenneth Norris Rogers w/m 37 was arrested
for violation of an injunction for protection.
On 01/17/2008 Kiana Soraya McQuillar b/f 22 was
arrested on a warrant for failure to appear on a charge of DWLSR.
On 01/17/2008 Kristen c Butler b/f 33 was arrested on a
charge of worthless checks.
On 01/17/2008 Elbony Veronica Cole Smith b/f 23 was
arrested on a violation of community control warrant the original charge was
possession of crack cocaine.
On 01/17/2007 Anthony Scott Crocker w/m 24 was arrested
on a violation of probation warrant the original charge was DWLSR>
On 01/20/2008 Levy Allen Turner w/m 20 was arrested on
a violation of probation warrant they original charge was possession of drug
paraphernalia.
On 01/20/2008 a vehicle driven by Timothy Thomas
Watford w/m 20 was stopped for having a headlight out. The deputy found that
Watford license was suspended he was arrested for DWLSR.
On 01/21/2008 Charles Ray Hayes w/m 55 was arrested on
a warrant for violation of probation on an original charge of DWLSR.
ON 01/22/2008 Anthony Scott Crocker w/m 24 was arrested
on a warrant for violation of probation the original charge was grand theft.
On 01/22/2008 Tristan Lamar Darna w/m 22 was arrested
on a violation of probation warrant the original charge was DWLSR>
On 01/23/2008 Jerry Allen Mills w/m 27 was arrested on
a failure to appear warrant.
On 01/23/2008 Jerry Thomas Gates W/m 63 was arrested on
a Bay County warrant for Worthless checks.
On 01/24/2008 Robert Phillip Pyne w/m 28 was arrested
for DWLSR.
On 01/23/2008 Jason Lee Catrett a juvenile was waived
to adult status on charges of burglary and theft for incidents that occurred
in the St Joe Beach area.
