The Gulf County
Sheriff’s Office will be conducting vehicle safety checkpoints and DUI check
points during the month of April 2008. The check points will be held
throughout the county to include Highway 98 near St. Joe Beach, Highway 98
and Garrison Ave, C-30 Simmons Bayou, Highway 71 North of White City,
Highway 22 and Highway 22A, Highway 71 and Westarm Creek, Highway 71
Dalkieth Area and Highway 71 near the Calhoun County Line
On 04/14/2008 Helen Corine Elizabeth Green b/f 19 came
to the sheriff’s office and turned herself in, she had a warrant for failure
to appear for DWLSR.
On 04/13/2008 a vehicle driven by Ahsley Renee Cloud
w/f 22 was stopped, Cloud was arrested on two warrants for Obstruction by
disguise and DWLSR.
On 04/15/2008 depuites responded to a local bar
concerning two patrons fighting in the parking lot. Roy Lee Vercher Jr W/m
24 and Brian Kenneth Wilkes w/m 34 were arrested for disorderly conduct.
On 04/15/2008 Jerry Thomas Gates w/m 63 was arrested on
a failure to appear warrant and possession of less than twenty grams of
marijuana.
On 04/14/2008 Sean Franklin Porras w/m 31 and Earnest
Balogh w/m 17 were arrested on two charges of burglary during a joint
investigation with the Port St Joe Police Department. The two were arrested
for the burglary of a home in Howards Creek and one in the City of Port St
Joe..
On 04/15/2008 officers responded to a disturbance in
Howards Creek Jerry R Mitchell w/m 52 was arrested for disorderly conduct
and aggravated battery. It was alleged that he hit an individual in the head
with a 2 x 4.
On 04/16/2008 Jonathan Curtis Gates w/m 24 turned
himself in at the sheriff’s office, he had a violation of probation warrant.
On 04/16/2008 Eric Gerard Mcadoo b/f 19 and Donnie
Joseph Cunningham w/m 44 were arrested on violation of probation warrants.
On 04/16/2008 Bret Charles Kelly w/m 41 was arrested
for sale of Methanphetmine and failure to appear.
On 04/16/2008 deputies responded to a call of an
unknown person shooting at an inmate work crew with a BB gun. Deputies
arrested Stacey Leeann Bauer w/f 32 for criminal mischief, shooting deadly
missiles into or at a vehicle and two counts of aggravated battery.
On 04/18/2008 deputies arrested Donna Sue Mathis w/f 40
on a warrant for failure to appear.
On 04/19/2008 Billye Smith Norine w/f 47 was arrested
on a failure to appear warrant for leaving the scene of traffic crash in Bay
County.
On 04/19/2008 Benjamin Fielder Holley w/m 54 was
arrested for Driving under the Influence of alcohol.
On 04/20/2008 deputies responded to a local bar, they
had received a complaint that a patron was threatening to shoot everyone,
Micha4el Eugene Burke w/m 47 was arrested for disorderly conduct.
On 04/20/2008 Jason Cory Neely w/m 22 was arrested for
failure to register as a convicted felon.
During the week of 04/14/2008 – 04/21/2008 Gulf County
Dispatchers handled 320 calls for service.
